Another summer filled with transfer rumors in the world of soccer. Silly Season is the perfect fix for all soccer junkies during the time most European leagues are on break. Here are some of the latest signings and rumors.

Liverpool are close to landing Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino according to Sky Sports. The 23-year-old Hoffenheim striker is currently with the Brazilian national team playing in the Copa America in Chile. Firmino scored  seven goal and had 10 assists in 33 games for Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga.

There are still a lot of rumors that Raheem Sterling could be on his way out from Anfield, and Firmino would be a great replacement.

Sky Sports also reports that Chelsea and Arsenal has settled on a price for Petr Cech. The Chelsea goalkeeper has been open about how we wants to leave Chelsea after being demoted to a backup role this season. The 33-year-old Czech international is still considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in the game, but the emergence of Thibaut Courtois, Cech had to sit on the bench for most of the season.

David de Gea’s future with Manchester United is in limbo, and it looks like the Reds have begun to search the market for a possible replacement. Most of the rumors surrounding de Gea has been about Real Madrid, and if he would leave then it seems like French national team goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is at the top of United’s shortlist. L´Equipe reports that United are willing to pay around $28 million for the Tottenham netminder.

Another player that could be on his way out from Manchester United is Nani. The 28-year-old Portuguese winger spent last season on loan at Sporting CP in Portugal, and The Daily Mail reports that Turkish club Fenerbahce is interested in getting Nani to Istanbul. United manager Louis van Gaal hasn’t made any suggestions that Nani would be a part of the team this coming season, so a transfer seems likely. Fenerbahce is said to be willing to pay around $11 million to get Nani.

One player that might be heading to Old Trafford and Manchester United is Aston Villa’s Belgian striker Christian Benteke. According to talkSPORT, United boss Louis van Gaal has inquired about the 24-year-old striker that scored 12 league goals for Villa last season.

United are also reported to be interested in Bayern Munich’s German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger. With one year left on his contract, The Mirror reports that United is interested in buying the midfielder for around $12 million. Schweinsteiger has played over 300 games for Bayern Munich as has represented the German national team on 111 occasions. The 30-year-old German would be a great addition to United’s midfield as they struggled when Michael Carrick, 33, got injured. Carrick turns 34 later in the summer.

Geoffrey Kondogbia move from Monaco to Inter Milan is now 100 percent done. The 22-year-old midfielder passed the physical and signed a five-year deal with the Nerazzurri. Kondogbia has 4 caps for the French national team and will be hoping to earn a spot on the French squad in next summer’s European Championship in France.

Rumors that Andrea Pirlo might be on his way to the MLS picked up after Pirlo tweeted out a photo of himself at a New York Yankees game. The Juventus midfielder has been linked with New York City FC before and they might be able to field a team with Pirlo, Frank Lampard and David Villa if the rumors turn out to be true.

Juventus has signed Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic to a four-year deal. Mandzukic joined Juve from Atletico Madrid for around $21 million. It also furthers the rumors that Carlos Tevez is on his way out. Mandzukic has scored 76 goals in 168 games in La Liga, Bundesliga and the Champions League.
