Silly season is in full swing. Here are some of the latest signings and rumors from the soccer world.

The price is said the be around $37 million for the 28-year-old Turkish international. The money that Atletico Madrid got from Barcelona is already getting put to use, as they unveiled Luciano Vietto on Tuesday. The 21-year-old Argentinian striker represented Villarreal last season and scored 12 league goals and also had eight goals in the Europa League. In Madrid, Vietto is reunited with manager Diego Simeone that he played for with Racing in Argentina.
Atletico sold Mario Mandzukic to Juventus earlier in the summer, so there’s definitely a spot up for grabs in the starting eleven that Vietto has a good chance of getting.

Manchester United’s search for a new right back has been a ill-kept secret this summer. Reports from the Daily Mail say that the team is closing in on 25-year-old Torino defender Matteo Darmian. Darmian will cost United around $17 million. Manager Louis van Gaal is not happy with the performances of Rafael da Silva, and the Brazilian defender only made 11 appearances for United last season. After losing out to Liverpool on Nathaniel Clyne, it looks like Darmian is the hottest lead at the moment.
Silva meanwhile is reported to have drawn interest from clubs like Napoli, Fiorentina and Galtasaray.
The Liverpool Echo reports that West Ham is closing in on signing Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna. The 27-year-old Italian came to Juventus in 2013, but as Juventus are making some big changes in the squad, Ogbonna is one of the players up for sale. The price for Ogbonna is reportedly between $12-15 million. He has 10 caps for the Italian national team on his resume.
Fenerbahce has completed the transfer for Nani. The 28-year-old winger was loaned out from Manchester United to Sporting Lisbon in Portugal last season. Reports from BBC Sports say that the Turkish side paid around $6.5 million for the Portuguese international. Nani scored 40 goals in 229 appearances for United.
Sampdoria has made a deal for Shakhtar Donetsk’s Brazilian midfielder Fernando. The player was was presented on Sampdoria’s website on Monday and signed a five-year contract. Fernando, 23, has eight caps for the Brazilian national team and is a defensive midfielder. He spent the last two years with Donetsk after coming over from Gremio in the Brazilian league.
On Monday we also got news that Andrea Pirlo is coming over to the U.S. and New York City FC. The 36-year-old midfielder is one of the most decorated Italian players in the game today, with six Serie A titles, two Champions League titles and a World Cup title on his resume. He spent the last four years with Juventus, winning four straight league titles and he was a major reason that Juve made it to the Champions League Final this season, where they finally ended up losing to Barcelona.
