English Premier League Team of the Year

Let’s take a look back at an exciting Premier League season, where there was a lot of drama down at the bottom of the table right until the final day of the season. Chelsea were crowned champions for the first time since 2009/2010, and Burnley, QPR and Hull saw themselves relegated.

So with that in mind, it’s now time to pick my Team of the Year. It will be a 4-4-2 formation with two attacking wingers.

Goalkeeper: David de Gea (Manchester United)

SOCCER: NOV 02 Premier League - Manchester United at Manchester City

De Gea saved the United players’ butts on several occasions throughout the season, as the defense allowed a lot of scoring opportunities. He has matured into one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and there’s no surprise that Real Madrid is sniffing around to see if they can lure de Gea away from Old Trafford.
