The clubs from the Premier League have been extremely active, and Newcastle United recently signed Aleksandar Mitrovic from Anderlecht. Newcastle has signed Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic from Belgian side Anderlecht. The 20-year-old is seen as one of the biggest attacking prospects in Europe and scored 36 goals in 69 league games. He also has 13 caps for the Serbian national team.
Mitrovic is the club’s second signing of the summer, as they previously made a move for Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum. Mitrovic is said to have signed a five-year contract. He told Newcastle’s website that he’s excited to play at St. James’ Park.
“I visited the stadium and it is amazing. I have played in a lot of impressive stadiums in my career but St. James’ Park is so big, I can’t wait to play my first game here,” said Mitrovic. “I know how passionate the fans are. This is a club with a very big history and the fans are a big part of that. There will be pressure here, for sure, but I like pressure.”
Rumors are that Newcastle is also interested in Anderlecht’s defender Chancel Mbemba.

Valencia has found a new goalkeeper in Matthew Ryan. The 23-year-old Australian international spent the last two years in Belgium with Club Brugge. He has 21 caps for the Australian national team and has played in the 2014 World Cup and the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.
Valencia were rumored to be interested in Manchester United’s Victor Valdes, but they ended up going with Ryan. Ryan has signed a six-year contract with Valencia who finished fourth in the Spanish La Liga last season and will be qualifying for a spot in the Champions League.

The Daily Express reports that Chelsea are ready to put up a huge offer of around $53 million to get Everton’s defender John Stones. Stones, 21, has already made his debut for the English national team and is reportedly seen as a long-term replacement for John Terry.
If Chelsea ends up paying $53 million for Stones, he would become the most expensive English defender in history. Rio Ferdinand went for around $47 million when he left Leeds for Manchester United in 2002.
Stones can play both a central defender and at right back. He played 28 games for Everton last season and has four caps for the English national team. Manchester United is another team that has shown interest in Stones.
The Guardian reports that Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal is heading to Bayern Munich. The 28-year-old Chilean international has spent four seasons with Juventus, winning four straight Serie A titles. The Guardian reports that he’s heading to Munich for a medical checkup and that the prize will land around $40 million on a four-year contract.
Vidal has 69 caps for the Chilean national team and was part of the 2015 Copa America winning side. Before coming to Juventus, Vidal spent four years with Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga.
Legendary Brazilian ball-wizard Ronaldinho is back in Brazil after spending a year in Mexico. The 35-year-old former Barcelona superstar has signed a 17-month contract with Brazilian side Fluminense. This is Ronaldinho’s fourth Brazilian club in his career as he’s previously represented Gremio, Flamengo, and Atletico Mineiro.
Ronaldinho played for Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and AC Milan in Europe and has 97 caps for the Brazilian national team and was part of the World Cup-winning side in 2002. Ronaldinho was voted FIFA World Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005.
